Frequently Asked Questions
1. How does shipping work?
All orders for gear are shipped FREE OF CHARGE by Expedited Parcel for destinations in Canada. This amount includes insurance.
Expedited
Parcel delivers the next business day locally, 1 to 3 business days
regionally, and 2 to 7 business days nationally between major Canadian
centers. For oversized items such as skis, boots, etc. shipping costs are extra.
2. How much is shipping?
FREE IN
CANADA! If you choose an oversized item some shipping charges will
apply. Faster shipping services such as Express Post are available for
an additional fee.
3. What is the turn around time for an order?
If an
item that you order is in stock it will ship out within 1-2 business
days. If we are out of stock and have to order it in you will be
notified and asked if you would like to proceed. Average turnaround for
an out of stock item is 2 weeks.
4. Will you ship to the USA?
Yes, we
now offer shipping to the USA. The customer is responsible for all
shipping, duty, brokerage or importing fees. A shipping quote is
produced for each US order and confirmed with you prior to the payment
being processed.
5. May I return something I buy from Mygear.ca?
Mygear.ca offers a 7-day Refund / Exchange policy for most products (special orders and some climbing gear is not included).
All items
for exchange or refund must be returned in "new, never used" condition,
complete with all manuals, packaging materials, non-completed warranty
card and any related manufacturer's accessory. Any product returned
incomplete will either be refused or the refund amount will be reduced
accordingly. Please note that shipping and handling charges are not
refundable unless return is necessitated by our error.
Your
shipment should be checked upon receipt. Any shortage or damage should
be reported immediately and no later than 7 days from receipt. Defective
goods will be replaced with a like item, upon return of the defective
merchandise.
Please
contact us prior to shipping Return/ Exchange Products. All products for
return and exchange must be assigned a Product Return Number and must
include a copy of the invoice. They must be shipped prepaid with full
insurance. Credit card refunds will be processed upon receipt and
examination of the Returned Product.
Please contact us prior to returning your goods.
Should
you wish to exchange a product you will pay the shipping on the second
item being shipped to you in exchange for the original purchase.
Mygear.ca reserves the right to refuse returns.
6. Does your gear come with a warranty?
Almost
all of our equipment comes with a bomber (good) warranty. Please inquire
about specific products. Warranties range from 1 year to a the
product's lifetime.
7. Are your prices in US or CAN dollars?
All prices on our site are in CAN dollars.
8. Does Mygear.ca have the right to refuse an order?
Yes, we reserve the right to refuse any order.
